Kenny "Road Dog" Anthony (Sound/Light Engineer)
Kenny "Road Dog" Anthony started his musical career
entertaining Central New York as a DJ and co-owner of MKP Sound and
Lighting. Kenny has worked sound and lighting for numerous
bands in his 20 years in the field. He has been life long
friends with some of the member of the band and jumped at the chance
to work with The Horn Dogs.

Tony Callisto
(Trumpet/Sax)
Tony Callisto started his musical
career nearly 40 years ago at the age of 7 with trumpet lessons
through St. Cecilia’s School in Solvay. By middle school Tony was
the lead trumpet player for the school band and during his four
years at Solvay High School he led the trumpet sections in both the
concert band and jazz ensemble. Senior year he learned to play the
sax. He played trumpet in all-county bands as well as the all-state
band senior year. Tony was the jazz trumpet soloist for the
Onondaga Community College Jazz Ensemble in ’81 and ’82. Tony
played professionally with a number of bands after high school, even
tooting the um-pa-pa with a German band, Vergbagabuden, in the late
80’s.

James Coker
(Bass)
James started his musical career back in 1964 when he and some of his friends banded together to form
the Ambassadors of soul. The Ambassadors rocked the city of Syracuse and even successfully auditioned for
the Apollo center until James was drafted into the Army. While serving in the military, James was stationed
in South Korea where he joined other GIs to form the band The Purple Underground. The Purple Underground
played at many clubs in Korea, and toured many NCO and Officer's clubs. After serving in the military,
James broke from touring and playing music for 24 years so that he could care for his family.
After raising a family with values of music and martial arts, James son began playing guitar leading
James to pick up his bass again.Together,James and his son, Germano, started the band RedSea, Which
still performs together today. James is skilled in playing bass guitar in the musical styles of Jazz,
Blues, Rock, Country,Reggae,R&B,and Gospel. His influences are James Jamerson, the uncredited bass
guitarist on most of Motown records and bassist for the Funk Brothers, Sly and The Family Stone,
James Brown, and his newest influence, bass phenom Victor Wooten.

John D'Eredita (Trumpet/Flugelhorn)
Growing up with the crooning of Dean Martin and Frank
Sinatra, John was always drawn to the crisp brass sounds that packed
their bands. John began playing trumpet in the 5th grade and now
thirty-two years later, he is reunited with the best of friends.
John's musical influences range from the Big Band Era to today’s Pop
Music.

Erin Donaghy
(Lead Vocals)
Born and raised in Syracuse, Erin has been singing since she was a little girl.
Very active in musical theater in high school, she was featured in several productions,
including Bye Bye Birdie, Godspell, and The Wiz. Finally, as a senior at Westhill High
School, she took the lead role of Reno in Anything Goes. At 17, Erin sang the national
anthem at a Syracuse University basketball game in front of 23,000 fans. Continuing on to
Ithaca College, Erin took voice lessons throughout her college career. She was the lead
singer of the popular college rock band, Glory, who played at many Ithaca bars and clubs.
Most recently, Erin was one half of the duo, Clark & Donaghy, and played at many Syracuse
area bars and restaurants. Her influences include Janis Joplin, Heart, Madonna, Martin Sexton,
The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and much more. Erin resides in Syracuse with her husband and 2
dogs, and works in advertising.

Jim Kelly
(Percussion)
Originally hailing from Boston, Jim's musical roots go back over 32 years starting with playing drums and
percussion in school bands, shows and jr/senior high bands to sitting in with regional acts playing in
his family's restaurant/bar in his teens. After attending the reknown Berklee College of Music,
Jim returned to CNY and has been a local music vet for over 20 years playing and recording with a
number of bands & performers, most recently with "Harddrive", a 2005 Syracuse Newtimes top 3 best
bands reader's pick. Jim's influences include Steve Gadd, Jeff Porcoro, Terry Bozzio, Vinnie Colaiutta,
Neil Peart, John Bonham, Carter Beufort and many more.

John Malbone
(Lead Guitar)
John has been
playing and performing for 20 years. He's played in a variety
of regional bands including The Boneheads and RedSea. He draws from
his many influences such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, Carlos Santana, Jeff
Beck, The Meters, James Brown, and Eddie Van Halen, to create a
unique Funk-Rock sound.

Jeremy Patterson
(Keyboard)
Jeremy joined The Horn Dogs after he saw them on play their debut
gig at the Solvay Field Days. After that performance Jeremy knew he had to get a piece of that action.
Jeremy started playing piano at the age of 4. Jeremy's influences include Billy Joel, Billy Preston and Jackson Brown.

Peter Reynolds

Pete "Chaos"
Reynolds: Pete began playing trombone over 36 years in the Syracuse
area sitting in with the Stan Colella Orchestra in the late 70's
early 80's to working many local bands through the 80's doing sound
reinforcement. Pete in recent years has played with the CNY Police
and Fire Department Marching Band and John Puma and the Funkin
Dangerous Horns, his influences are Tower of Power, James Brown and
Earth, wind and Fire, along with many others keeps Pete belting out
those big brass sounds

Dave Simiele
(Trumpet)Dave Simiele
is no stranger to the Syracuse
music scene, besides his trumpet and keyboard Dave has been an area disc
jockey in many local hot spots. As you will no doubt hear Dave is a very
versatile musician not only is he our second trumpet but Dave also lends
his talents to adding keyboards to many of the Horn Dogs songs. He also
is the lighting engineer behind MKP Sound and Lighting since 1977.
Dave’s influences are Earth, Wind and Fire, Kool and the Gang along with
the local groups Under the Gun, Primetime and After F/X.
